Did anybody watch The Little Shop of Horrors last night or ever?
Mushnick was the floral shop owner with a nice NYC Jewish accent and grammar. Like any proper joke Jew he is primarily motivated by whatever will make him some bucks. He is shockable, but has no real morals. He says "oy" and keeps on ticking over.
So when Audrey Junior demonstrates what she needs to keep growing and living, ie, flesh in the form of bodies, he is kinda grossed out, but he sees the pratical ramifications and goes with it. After all, he's going to be rich...maybe.Really, Mushnick, is just a typical natural Humanick, a normal schlemiel. He has fair manners, and a pretty good head for business. When he is presented with a moral problem, he fails the test. He should have killed the plant, period, of course, when he saw Seymour feed it a leg. (What nonsense, but a kind of terrible parable.)🍗💀

1 John 2:15-17 ESV / Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride in possessions—is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.

PS, all this sort of exhortation is aimed right back at me first, actually mostly at me.
