STEP RIGHT UP!

Every one a winner! 

Working on a theory here.  It involves how we got here, from where we used to be, more or less.  Here being the medical mutilation of numerous healthy bodies.

(First thing I ever heard from Waits.  I was instantly smitten.)

My contention is that "we" bought a bill of goods, gradually. Back to business:

1. First they used to say that you could be anything you wanted to be!  Yeah! I realize that this saying was originally meant to encourage hard dedicated work towards a goal.
2. They stopped admitting who won the game.  They stopped recognizing that some people just do better than others.
3. They stressed victimhood above all other considerations, and invented victims too.
4. They convinced many kids that gender was not real, that flesh was just malleable meat.
5. Then they taught them that a fantasy is just as real as real reality.   
6. Oh, and they kicked God out of everyday life.   

So what do you think?  Help me out here.
