Expectations Tend To Come True
Placebos Work
💓And Magic Is Afoot💓
The working of faith is a mystery when eyes are on an illusion of reality. How about that? It might not be so mysterious, depending on what is in sight.
Jesus, himself, said faith the size of a mustard seed, would do the work. He said you could tell a mountain to hop into the sea and it would have to go. That statement alone makes me wonder if I actually have faith. I feel sometimes like what I have could be called hope. These seeds are maybe twice or four times the size of the dots on the "i"s in this text. Not very big. I think his point was that faith is faith and quantity doesn't enter into it. Mirror imagery comes to mind.
I contend that simple belief might be our strongest and most consistent power, for good or ill. This is why those voices lobbying for our attention in the media are so dangerous. If everyone within reach of their waves can be brought to a belief in whatever, they might just make it, whatever it is. They can steer the people by creating expectations in them.
I don't know whether this news story about the fissure in the ocean floor off of Oregon is actual or not. What if they want to build a fear creature over it?
Maybe a light awareness of current events is best, so we don't help build any fear creatures? It seems like fear is a type of inside/out faith. "You gotta serve somebody..." "Might be the devil, might be the Lord.." thanks Bob.
Not really talking about lazy grace, or careless love...maybe carefree love and simple trusting faith, with appropriate action, thank you James.
