The zeitgeist of the day is not very kind to men. We all have seen the ads. The stupid boyfriend, the clodish husband, the dad who just doesn't get it!

So I wanted to say that most of we normal femmes have seen your works and we are grateful. We were aware in childhood, where all the good stuff came from. Most of us had working fathers. They got out of bed and went out into the world everyday. Moms did this too, but today is about the providing sex. Really, its amazing to contemplate. A lot of those jobs were not fun or fulfilling.

We know that you also have a mysterious inner life. I bet its not the same as mine, but its the kind of inner vision that has produced most of the greatness in culture on earth. Once again we do it too, but this is about you guys. Astounding in your strength and creativity. And playfulness, given half a chance and some sympathy.

It was hard even to think of song about the men. But the good old idiot radio remembered one. A serious case of schmaltz! Its pretty corny! lol
