Set His People Free *** Haiku Rondo

Ralph has met the Gov.

Ralph's big feet are on his rug.

Inslee smells him there.

πŸ’¬

Words he wants to say.

To set his woodsy people free,

Is his goal today.

🌲

Snohomish County,

Their green home is overrun,

By loud human folk.

😁

"We need the east, Gov.",

Quoth Ralph so winsomely, "to

Set my people free."

🚦

"Nay" says Jay, "desist!

Never shall you own Snohomish!

Begone, you big ape!"

πŸ™Š

Feeling wroth was Ralph.

Jay's desk flies through the window!

Gov. lay on the floor!

πŸ’€

The forest man stood,

And hollered out a loud WHOOP!

Land he must have now!

πŸŒ„

The Gov. had failed him.

But no war in the woods, please!

Peace, there has to be.

Back to the woods then,

To Snohomish County so fair,

Goes Ralph in a rush.

To set up his court,

To be king in Snohomish.

But just in the east!

So bubbles to all!

Let's let them be wild and free!

And share the forests!

😎

For now, Who*Goes*There,

Need not be a battle cry.

But a quip for all!

πŸ’—

May love prevail, all!

There are forests and rivers

For each of us, yes!

πŸŽ‚

Inslee was not slain,

A better man and wiser,

With a new window!
