Some Ways To Help Recovery After Helene

 

        Rather than just writing another little story, I thought I should take notice of some robust charities involved in the rescue and clean up after the storm.

        *Samaritan's Purse seems to be, from personal reports and YouTube videos one of the most legit.  They get a four star rating from Charity Navigator. 

        They seem powerful enough to maybe get past the government obstruction. samaritanspurse.org

        *Some people prefer the United Cajun Navy. 

        They get a two star rating from Charity Navigator, because of some missing reports. But, they are there doing good work. I hope they can proceed.

        *There is also a local charity for the care of animals. Brother Wolf Animal Rescue, which gets a 100%, four star rating from Charity Navigator.

        *Karen Kingston recommends Strategic Response Partners. I looked, but could find no charity rating for them. Perhaps they are fine.

        In addition to those efforts, I know that we will continue to pray for the lives and health of our countrymen.
