I’ll sing you a tale, but it won’t take long.
Of the marvelous medicinal cat.
His powers are legion, he’s goodly and strong.
His heart is good as they get!
When trouble is offing he’s there in a flash,
To succor and cosset and purr.
His vibrations are mighty and brash!
Yes, it’s Willie, by his tail and his fur.
So, thank you good Willie, amen.
An angel of mercy for sure.
For a heart that is breaking, or a head that is aching,
He’s a sure and certain cure!
A creature of virtue, here in my arms,
Doing the best that he can,
To lighten the load of all harms,
Which bedevil a woman or man.
We should all do as well as a cat!
