The Power of The Purr!

🤍Amplification!🤍

So how does a PowerPurr™ work, anyhow?

I suppose the best one to ask would be a participant in this highly important activity.

“So, Toots, you’re a well spoken girl.  How about it. A little help here?”

“Mrrrt! Is someone there?” asked Toots, from her window perch.

“Yes, ma’am!  It’s just me, a friendly anonymous questioner. It happens sometimes,” I admit.

“Can you enlighten us on the subject, just in general terms, no need to go all scholarly here.”

“I see,” said Toots, feeling put on the spot just slightly. “Let me compose my thoughts for a moment.”

“Take your time.  I have all the time in the universe, being merely a voice, and all, you know,” I said. “I’m not here to place demands on you.”

“Alright,” said Toots. “First, purring is vibrational. Of course. That is the first foundational element.  The vibration.”

“Reasonable, to be sure,” I agreed. I waited quietly, from wherever I was.

“Accordingly, when a number of cats purr together, there is a more powerful vibration. But there must also be synchronization among the cats.  Additionally, they must reach a harmonic state of synchronization with the waves of the universe,” she added.

“Thank you. That also only makes sense," I agreed.

“OK, the main thing is amplification,” Suzy burst into the conversation suddenly without warning. “I don’t want you to forget the amplification factor! Cats are natural born amplifiers!”

“Very true,” said Toots. “It’s exponential in effect. So when we got together last night for Violet and Lightnin’, it was much more powerful than either one of us purring alone.  Then Willie and Sammie joined in, and it became a manifold purr, one of its best effects.”

“I see. That explains a lot,” I said. “No wonder then, that you two are confident that they will survive and in fact be taken care of. The others also, though they are used to fending for themselves we heard.”

“Yes, we heard their vibrations coming through a bit, and though they were surprised to find themselves outdoors, they are also reassured,” said Suzy. “Plus the outdoor kitties will show them around, and how to do everything for themselves for a while.”

“Well, thank you two girls. I will keep those things in mind for next time!” I said. “Since you are experts, I will know who to call!”

        "M'now!" and Goodnight!
